2010 - High Performance Camp

International Racer and staff are excited to announce our 2010 high performance, skills development camp
Welcome to
our skills development camp at Silver Star, our home for high performance all mountain skiing.
Silver Star and International Racer Academy have partnered to launch a new high performance skills development camp (HPSDC) for the 2009/2010 Canadian winter.
Aimed at junior development the 4 week camp will focus on providing participant athletes with strong fundamentals skills within a fun but serious training block.
Taking advantage of the diverse Silver Star terrain and high quality snow conditions, coaches will progress participants via IR’s Technical Conditioning Program (TCP) that our Operational Director Luc Pelletier and Athletic Director Jeff Books have built up over many successful years taking junior athletes up to the elite level in skiing. The progressions and methods of the TCP, have been adapted to Silver Star, so participants can expect to work on fundamentals in free skiing, jumping, SL/GS course, bumps and terrain park. The goal is for campers to be competent to ski anything, anywhere and in any snow conditions.
