2010 - Chile Valle Nevado Camp

Image

International Racer is excited to announce our 2010 Chile "Valle Nevado", alpine ski racing camp.

Valle Nevado is just 60 kilometers from Santiago International Airport, at an altitude of 3,025 meters, in the midst of the most spectacular landscape of the Andes Mountains.

Some of the main advantages of training in Valle Nevado are:

* Winter snow conditions, the quality of its snow, unique at this time of year.
* Variety of different training slopes, flat, moderate and steep
* Flexible slope scheduling.

* Good access to hill space; training lanes available for full days resulting in opportunities for high volume
* Full coordination of all the services a team requires: lodging next to the slopes, board, slope use, gym, tuning rooms.
* Easy access due to its proximity to the Santiago International Airport and frequency of flights

No matter if you’re a K1, K2, FIS, or masters ski racer International Racer has a camp that is right for you.

Professional Programs

International racer has been operating junior and FIS level alpine camps for many years since 2003, in Australia, Canada and Europe. And now we offer athletes the chance to jumpstart their northern winter program with fall training in Chile.

Athletes in our programs make excellent personal improvements. One of the great attraction of the Valle Nevado terrain is the possibility to train full length, Super G, GS and SL.

We manage all the logistics to enable our athletes to maximize their training.

The following is a guide plan of a typical training day, this is subject to change due to conditions and coaching requirements.

Standard Daily Schedule

06:30 am            Wake Up
07:00 am            Breakfast
07:30 am            Walk to Lift (150 M)

SESSION 1          Warm up / On Snow Training

SESSION 2          On Snow Training

SESSION 3          On Snow / Conditioning

SESSION 4          Conditioning / Ancillary

5:30pm               Tuning

6:30PM               Dinner

7:30PM               Video / Team Meeting

9:30PM               Lights Out

Training Focus

The focus of the Chile camps is on the development, patterning, and mastering of the technical and tactical skills for Slalom within brushes, stubbies and gates

Once mastered our goal is to then sequence your skills from
brushes and stubbies into a combination of regular gate corridors and a-rhythmical sets.

Accommodation

With 91 rooms, located at only 150m from the slopes, Hotel Tres Puntas offers comfort very close to the slopes. Hotel Tres Puntas is the most accessible hotel of Valle Nevado, although it offers a variety of services:
