International Racer and staff are excited to announce our 2009
Blackcomb Glacier dedicated SL training camp.
Here is your chance to really develop your Slalom Skills.
International Racer is please to introduce specific discipline development
camps. Are you tired of just starting to figure out or change something in
your skiing only to realize that tomorrow you are going to be training
another discipline. Here is your chance to finally train a specific
discipline for more than three days in a row and finally get thoses
changes you are looking for.
Enjoy summer
training in beautiful Whistler B.C. on the Horstman glacier. Located 75 miles
northeast of Vancouver, Whistler is internationally known as one of the
best destinations resorts in the world. Thanks to exceptional terrain and
an endless assortment of activities Whistler has something for
everyone. On the Horstman Glacier athletes
can look forward to consistant pitches, great snow conditions and
exclusive training lanes ideal for early summer skill development No matter if
you’re a K1, K2, FIS, or masters ski racer International Racer has a camp
that is right for you.

The following is a guide plan of a typical on-snow training
day, this is subject to change due to conditions and coaching/schooling
requirements.

Training Focus
Our Whistler Glacier camps are dedicated for SL
training
The focus of the Whistler camps is on the development,
patterning, and mastering of the technical and tactical skills for Slalom
within brushes and stubbies.
Once mastered our goal is to then sequence your skills
from brushes and stubbies into a combination of regular gate corridors
and a-rhythmical sets.
Off Snow Focus

Building the Athlete
* Quality coaching focussed on the execution of strong

International Racer is engineered for performance; we leave
no stone unturned in the quest for scholastic achievement, athletic
success and personal growth.
Pension
The accommodation offers a comfortable, fun social setting,
with modern amenities. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided.
International Racer, can
arrange an accommodation upgrade should a more private arrangement be
desired for a family. Please advise academy staff on application.
Wireless Internet access is available at our home
accommodation for email, Skype and basic web surfing.

Professional Services
International Racer are pleased to offer the following
professional services as part of the Blackcomb Glacier, Slalom 2009 Programs.
Athletes are welcome
to opt for the non-pension option or engage our full pension and training
service offering

* Professional alpine race
training in SL
* Blackcomb Glacier lift and training
pass (5 days on snow for 7 day camp) (shorter camps - as advised)

(Dinner only provided 5 nights in-house, campers

* Due to the high cost of Horstman Glacier training lane fees, the camps will not run if the minimum set participant level is not reached.

Payments
The Academy has a limited number of openings and fill up quickly, so first come, first served.
We suggest you contact us ASAP to nominate your interest.

A deposit of $800.00 CAD is required to secure your place for the listed
camp.
[2] The balance of the camp payment must be paid
before June 1st to secure your place.
[3] Full payment of Full camp fees is required after
April 1st to secure any unfilled positions.
* Cancellations are subject to Cancellation fees
Waiting Lists
If the camp has already filled you may request entry
onto the programs waiting list. A place will come available if an
athlete cancels their place or we get sufficient numbers to create a new
group.
Conditions
International Racer,
reserves the right to cancel a training camp based on insufficient numbers for participation. Booked participants will be notified of cancellation 30 days prior to the start of the affected block.
International Racer, reserves the right to vary group numbers when necessary,
though maintains a policy to keep numbers at LT 8:1 in most conditions.
In order to achieve the best group dynamics,
International Racer reserves the right to screen applicants for
enrolment.

by weather, Force Majeure or conditions beyond the control of the tour operator
