Started in 2003 International Racer was designed to give racers of all levels access to the highest level of training independent of the traditional club. When you choose International Racer, you choose to train in specifically built world class ski racing facilities with highly qualified coaches known for their outstanding track record both internationally and domestically. We want to give our athletes the best opportunity to progress their racing skills.

Why choose International Racer ?

International Racer is owned by coaches and operated by coaches.

International Racer gives athletes the opportunity to design and commit to a variety of training periods from short term training blocks to full time academy. This is excellent alternative for racers who have other commitments that prevent them from participating in our full program but still want to experience an elite level training program.

International Racer is located near three of the best alpine race training facilities in North America. International Racer currently operates its full time academy training at Nakiska, Norquay Alberta and Panorama British Columbia where we have access to 10 full time race prepared training lanes including 1 dedicated SG lane.

International Racer, choose locations based on:

• Standard of the training slope
• Logistical accessibility
• Snow conditions, (race prepared, hard packed)
• Costs for athletes
• Expert advise from our coaching staff
• Suitability for training SL, GS, SG skill development
• Slope availability

Its all about you the athlete.

We seek out only the best for our athletes

* Excellent alpine training locations, that enable our coaches to give the athletes productive development

* Appropriate races to support the athletes development

* Dry land activities to support the athletes on snow development

* Comfortable accommodations to allow the athletes to rest and relax after the training day.

Northern (Winter) - Nakiska

For FIS athletes, the academy full time based is located in the picturist town of Canmore Alberta. Ideally located between Nakiska and Norquay
Operations Director Luc Pelletier and Athletic Director Jeff Books have built a challenging and comprehensive on snow training program coupled with dryland and if required schooling. It is IR’s intention to create the most optimal learning environment possible. This enables each International Racer athlete participant to have every available opportunity to reach for the full potential that they deserve.

For parents and athletes looking for a suitable program,. All International Racer athletes have access to programs that are efficiently managed and serviced. This includes all accommodation, transport, meals, training, lifts, video analysis, equipment advice and pastoral care, lifted race training facilities in the world.

Coupled with great off-piste skiing and on-piste variety, the professional, creative and dynamic IR coaching staff is dedicated to creating the optimal learning environment. This enables each International Racer athlete participant to have every available opportunity to reach for the full potential that they deserve.

Northern Fall (Autumn) - Tignes

In October, we train on the La Grand Motte. glacier Tignes, in France; offering athletes a great opportunity to accelerate their on snow development leading into the winter months.

On the glacier, athletes will concentrate on mechanical conditioning, including skill drills designed to develop and enhance sound fundamentals
Skill conditioning - challenging mechanics and consolidation of skills through mileage.
Tactical conditioning via developing versatility, adaptability and understanding

Southern Winter (Summer) - Australia - Falls Creek

In July/August, we train in Australia at Falls Creek Mountain resort. Athletes are offered a challenging 5 week program of on snow, dry land training, and racing for both kinder and FIS athletes.
The FIS races are stacked by talented athletes from Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania. This offers junior athletes the chance to compete in a race set with low penalty points.
