Summary
Luc comes
to the International Racer team with over 14 years of coaching
experience in Canada, Europe, and Australia.
Prior to the position as a FIS coach with the Whistler Mountain Ski Club
in 2003/2004, Luc spent four winters in Europe working with athletes
from club to national team level. Luc also spent nine summers working in
the Southern Hemisphere as a program director with Mt. Hotham Race Club
in Australia.
In 2000
Luc was appointed Head Coach of the Australian World Jr. Championship
team Quebec City and in 2001 was named to the coaching staff of the
Australian World Championship Team St. Anton.
Luc is
known for his track record of producing extraordinary results at all
levels of competitive skiing, Luc is widely recognized for his
leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate athletes

- Present - Operational Director (International Racer)
* Design, coordination and implementation of FIS training programs in
Europe, Australia and Canada
Nov 2003 - April 2004 Whistler Mountain Ski Club,
J2 Performance coach
* Assisted with the coordination and implementation of FIS program.
* Assisted the Athletic Coordinator with the dry land training of FIS
athletes
* Responsible for the logistics management, administration and budgets
for away races.
May 1996 - 2003 - Program Director, Head Coach
Alpine, Mt Hotham
* Planned and directed overall team
strategy, coaching practices and recruiting program for alpine,
freestyle, snowboard, and masters.
* Recruited and managed a staff of 18
coaches.
* Responsible for the coordination and
training of the FIS program.
* Managed, and administered all budgets and
sales.
* Developed, and implemented record keeping
such as coaching hours, athlete attendance, and training log.
* Prepared and presented program reports
for superiors
* Increased total membership in the club
from 50 in 1996 to 200 in 2002.
* Developed and coordinated a grass roots
rural development program which has grown from 2 participants in 2000 to
100 participant by 2003.
* Successfully produced numerous notable
results.

* To lead and coordinate an appropriate
European based training camp-program for athletes between the age of 12
and 20.

* Responsible for the 24 hr care and well
being of 16 athletes.
* Requested personally by former Australian
Europa cup and Olympic competitor Kathrin Nikolussi to coach and manage
a post injury on-snow program for her
Oct 2001 - April 2002 - Blue Earth Institute,

* Contracted to coach and coordinate a
European based Australian women’s FIS program.
* Attended FIS races in Germany, Austria,
Italy, Slovenia, and Switzerland
* Responsible for the design, management
and administration of all budgets.
* Responsible for the 24 hr care and will
being of the athletes.
* Negotiated with ski manufactures and
shops in Austria favorable equipment deals for athletes.
* Achieved significant improvement in FIS
pts.
Oct 2000 – April 2001 - Australian National Team
Coach,
Innsbruck, Austria
* Contracted by One-Tel on behalf of Skiing
Australia to coach and coordinate a European based program for Europa
Cup team member Rowena Bright.
* Responsible for the design, management
and administration of all budgets.
* Maintained a very good relationship with
Fischer Ski Company in Austria in order to obtain favorable equipment
for athlete.
* Appointed assistant coach for the 2001
Alpine World Championship Team, St. Anton.
* Athlete finished 14th in the
combined event at the World Championship, qualifying her for the 2002
Winter Olympic in Salt Lake City Utah.
Nov 1999 – May 2000 - One-Tel Alpine Race Coach,
Moena, Italy
* Contracted by One-Tel to coach and
coordinate a European based program for Europa Cup athlete, Rowena
Bright.
* Responsible for the design, management
and administration of all budgets.
* Created a very good relationship with the
Fischer Ski Company in Austria, in order to obtain favorable equipment
for athlete.
* Athlete received Europa cup start in SL
as a result of winning Australia New Zealand Cup.
* Appointed Head Coach for the 2000 Alpine
World Jr Championship Team, Quebec City.
* Athlete finished 10th in the
combined, 16th in the SL and 17th in the DH at
World Jr.
* Dramatically improved athlete’s FIS pts
in 1 year from 78.56 SL, 69.06 GS on FIS calendar 5/99 to 33.29 SL,
40.10 GS on FIS calendar 5/00.
1994 – 1999 - Program Director & Head Coach,
Victorian State Development Camp, Big White & Apex, Canada
* To lead and coordinate an appropriate
training camp-program for athletes between the age of 13 and 20.
* Responsible for the design, management
and administration of all budgets.
